Your XRP storage box and XRP side panel should already have a sticker attached →
Make sure you have the correct XRP kit with your name on it. If not, ask for help.
Let's assemble our XRP kits together with this video from Sparkfun and this assembly guide:
Building the XRP Robot
We going to do this together. Please don't jump ahead. If you've completed a step, see if anyone is asking for help and show them what you did.

Now that you've assembled your XRP kit, you should verify that it's working.
In the XRP Code Editor, on the filesystem area on the left side, find
XRPExamples ...installation_verification.py
Double-click the filename and Run the program.
Follow the prompts to verify your assembly.
If there are issues, check your connections carefully.
If you're stuck, ask for help from another student, TA, or instructor.
On the upper right of the screen, under the RUN button, is some text in the form "XRP-xxxxx."
This is your XRP Controller Board's unique ID (and Bluetooth ID).
Use a Sharpie to write the ID on the sticker on your XRP kit's labels on the front of the XRP and the box.
