Tiny eggs waiting to be viewed. The blue tint is due to the addition of Methylene Blue to prevent fungus.
An embryo onthe first day of observation - we can see it's "heart", eyes, and the egg yolk it is ifeeding off of. It flips!
Students document what they observe via "Draw What You Saw". The 6th grade is learning about organ systems, so this was a neat chance to see how those systems develop in another vertebrate.
