We celebrated MAR10 Day by racing the balloon-powered cars we built as part of our exploration of Newton's Laws of Motion. Students build a car from a plastic bottle, a balloon, straws, skewers, bottle caps, and A LOT os masking tape. The air from the inflated balloon races down a straw, propelling the car forward. The Prizes are awarded for the top 3 distances achieved.
