Sonia Miron

Last April, the girls and boys from 3°ESO were with Sonia Miron talking about their novel "Si tu quieres" and sharing the best of literature.

This work will be included on the platform that we are developing together with our collaborators of the Erasmus project to inform our Galician authors.


Sonia Mirón was born in Vigo (1970). She has a degree in Hispanic Philology and she has been teaching Language and Literature in institutes for years, and as a tutor at the UNED. She has collaborated as an opinion columnist in different printed newspapers and digital newspapers. She has also written reports for travel magazines such as Turismo Rural or National Geographic. Winner of a second prize in the short story category at the Leopoldo Alas Prize (2005), she has published several short stories in various anthologies. She is the author of several interviews and reviews for different publications. Her previous young adult novels titled Si tu quieres and Un sol dentro de mi, continue to be successful among adolescent audiences and are recommended reading lectures in numerous secondary schools throughout the country.
