Julian Lopez is the new CTE instructor at Dinuba High School in the Valley ROP

Urban Rural Fire Academy class. This course is offered to students from both Dinuba Unified School District and Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District. 

This course includes student enrollment from Dinuba High School, Orosi High School and Lovell High School.   After 28 years of service in the Fire Department, he retired from CALFIRE as a Fire Captain. he is an Orosi High School graduate, and a former Wildcat from Cutler Elementary School. 

"I am excited to work with Orosi High students to introduce them to the fire service

and a possible new career path through the Valley ROP CTE programs. I was able to volunteer at Tulare County Fire Department when I was a student after learning about the program at our high school career day at OHS. I have had the opportunity to work for the California Department of Forestry, with Porterville City Fire, and CALFIRE.  I  am looking forward to sharing my experiences with the students of Cutler-Orosi Joint Unified School District.
