Construction Technology Exterior

• • This year-long course prepares students for the competency skills and knowledge necessary to enter the field of residential and light commercial construction. This is the second course in the residential construction pathway. Students, after gaining basic construction skills, and tool knowledge in the Introduction to Residential Construction class, will learn in depth application at all of the various areas of construction, technology, wood products manufacturing, and exterior building construction. Included in the instruction will be specific applications of the career performance standards.

• • This course prepares students for the competency skills and knowledge necessary to enter the field of residential and light commercial construction. This year course provides student application at all of the various areas of construction, technology, wood products manufacturing, and interior building construction and will have an emphasis on finish carpentry. Included in the instruction will be specific applications of the career performance standards.
