Labels are like folders that you can use to categorize your emails. In this video you'll learn how to create labels and sublabels, apply labels to your messages, and how to manage your labels.
At the conclusion of this video, you should spend some time creating labels for your Gmail and apply those labels to a few messages in your inbox to apply what you have learned.
We will look at various ways to move individual messages and messages in bulk out of the inbox and into a label.
In Gmail, filtering messages means creating rules that automatically manage incoming emails based on specific criteria. These rules can then apply actions to the filtered emails, such as archiving, labeling, or deleting them
Filters can be very useful for dealing with emails already in your inbox, but also allow to set rules for emails that will be incoming. For example, you can apply labels to all messages from a certain in sender in bulk or you can program emails that meet a certain criteria to skip your inbox and be filed away in a location of your choosing. There are many possibilities. This video will show you 3 practical uses of filters geared to helping you save time staying organized.
Schedule Send and Snooze are two handy features of Gmail. Use snooze to postpone emails and temporarily remove them from your inbox until you need them. Your email will come back to the top of your inbox when you want it to, whether that's tomorrow, next week, or this evening. Using Schedule Send you can schedule your emails to send at a later time. This is great for crafting reminders but also making sure your email is delivered at the most appropriate time.
