As you add more calendars to your Google Calendar account, it is helpful to know how to toggle on and off various calendars as well as how to hide calendars from view or remove calendars from your account.
Google Calendar provides the ability to adjust how you view your calendar. You can view your calendar by day, week, month or year. You can even set custom view for your calendar.
Set default notifications for all events on a calendar or create notifications just for specific events. This video will show you how to do that you don't miss out on important events or event updates.
You can set up a block of appointments on your calendar that other people can reserve using a link your provide. For example:
Teachers can use appointment schedules to set up office hours
Guidance counselors can set up parent conferences
Nurses can set up physicals
Appointment schedules are useful when you don't know who needs to meet with you, but you want to make yourself available. You can offer people a block of time on your calendar that they can book time slots within. The best part is that there's no back and forth over the phone or email trying to come up with a common time to meet. This tutorial will show you how to setup appointment slots, share a link to your booking calendar, the appointment booking experience, as well as how to view and manage bookings.
Update: The Appointment Schedule features is now available in personal Gmail accounts.
