Generative AI systems have become a central part of every industry. Rather than banning generative AI use for students, MagicSchool believes in the importance of allowing students to practice responsible usage of AI so that they can understand how to interact with AI systems in a productive way. This video will provide a quick description of MagicSchool for students, where to find MagicStudent Tools, and how the student tools compare to the MagicSchool tools that teachers are using. MagicStudent Tools can help students study for tests, develop research ideas, chat with fictional and historical figures, and more!
This video will show you how create a Student Room, make tools available to students via Student Rooms, and how to customize those tools. You'll also learn how to share your room so others can join it.
If you like a particular customized tool you have created, you can save those customizations as a template. You can use that template any time you want to use that customized tool again without having to re-create the customization.
Now that you understand what the students will see, let's take a look at the teacher dashboard and explore all of the available actions that will help you to manage your student rooms.
In this video the focus will be on the student view of MagicSchool Student Rooms. You'll see how students access a room, can set their language preference, and interact with the tools.
The Dashboard of a Student Room allows teachers to view eac student's interaction with the AI, get a quick summary of what the student has shown interest in, as well as to review any activity that has been flagged as inappropriate or concerning.
