There are two instances when students in grades 6-12 will need to reset their password:
At the beginning of the year when all student passwords are reset to the student default password.
If they forget their password and have a designated staff member reset their password to the student default password. Staff members that can reset a student's password include: main office staff, guidance staff, and the librarian.
Please note: If you do not know the student default password, please call or see a building secretary. For security purposes, passwords will not be sent via email.
Students can update their password and regain access to their cohoes.org account in a similar manner that staff can. If needed, you can share these instructions with students. This is also posted on the Student Tech Help Site.
What if a student does not have an account? If a student does not have an account, contact your main office to have a ticket submitted. New accounts will only be generated if the ticket originates from the the main office.
What if a student forgets their password? If any grade 6-12 students forgot their password over the summer, librarians, guidance counselors and secretaries can reset student passwords.
