One challenge with transitioning to a new program like myViewBoard Whiteboard is what to do with all the content you've already created. Maybe you have folders of old SMART Notebook files or PowerPoint files. Maybe you have images, PDFs or audio files. Instead of starting all over again from the beginning, you can bring all that old content directly into myViewBoard using the Magic Box.
In addition to all of this the Magic Box allows you to:
Import files
Add various tools to your Canvas like Dice, Rulers, and Timers
Add sticky notes
Add animated images called widgets
Add images and YouTube videos
The Magic Box tool allows you to import resources (such as images, video, audio, Google Docs, Office Docs, Flipchart and Notebook files) from your cloud drive and into the canvas. Watch the video for a quick overview of Magic Box tools including File Import, Sticky Notes, Document Camera and more.

Sometimes you may want to create a screen capture of content from a website or another program on your computer. The Capture Tool allows you to create a full-screen capture, free-hand capture and area capture. Once captured, you can paste the content into your whiteboard.
The Screen Recorder is your go-to tool when you want to record the entire whiteboarding experience, including annotations and sound, for easy sharing of lessons. Once the video is saved, you can use the built-in share settings to distribute the lesson to learners anywhere.
The Embed Browser feature allows you to quickly view content from your favorite websites without having to leave the myViewBoard software. Images and videos from the browser can be dragged onto the canvas.
Click on an inserted image to see the options .... delete, lock, flip, layer, resize, link, crop, etc.
Each viewboard has a web address. Students can input this address to view options for sharing content to and interacting with the display board.
The myViewBoard Portal allows students to interact with myViewBoard Whiteboard software. Students will scan the QR Code you provide or visit your myviewboard address (ex. myviewboard.com/Sangiacomo). Watch the video to learn how they can share their screens, throw files, and submit pop quiz answers.
The Pop Quiz feature is found in the MagicBox (fireworks icon) and lets you quiz students in real time and provides immediate feedback so you can easily assess student performance. It’s a great way to engage students who are in class or at home.
The Throw feature allows students to send images, pictures of their work, or screenshots from their device to the myViewBoard Whiteboard software.
Want to have students share their screen to the classroom panel? It's really easy with myViewBoard. Everything is web based so it doesn't require special accounts, changing your network settings or running a device specific app. myViewboard.com is EdLaw2d approved, so students can sign in.
The Poll Quiz Tool delivers immediate feedback by enabling you to assess student performance in real-time with easy-to-use quizzes and polls.
