ClassLink solves the problem of too many passwords. It’s a one click single sign-on solution that gives students access to everything they need to learn, anywhere, with just one password. With ClassLink, no more class time will be wasted having everyone log in to what seems like an infinite number of web apps. By logging in just once to the platform, students will be able to access all their apps and services on any device, even from home!
Technology leaders, principals, teachers and students share the benefits of the single sign-on solution that ClassLink provides.
No need to waste class time having everyone log in to what seems like an infinite number of web apps. With ClassLink, log in once and access all your apps on any device.
Access ClassLink from https://launchpad.classlink.com/cohoes or from the District Resources bookmarks folder in Google Chrome.
NOTES:
The first time you log in DO NOT use the sign in with Google button
Your user name does not include @cohoes.org
Your user name and password is the same info that you use to login to the computer
Once you login for the first time, you will want to explore, but the first thing you should do is to connect ClassLink to your cohoes.org Google Account. This tutorial will show you how to that. This step only needs to be completed once, and when you do this, you will be able to use the "Sign in with Google button" on the ClassLink login page. Reminder: From this point forward, if Chrome asks if you want to save passwords click "no" as this can interfere with ClassLink running properly. If you do have saved passwords in Chrome and need to delete them, see the resources section at the bottom of this page.
This demo will show you, as ClassLink puts it, how the "magic happen.s"
Explore editing features to help you organize your launchpad. You'll see how to create folders, rearrange items, change the size and font of icons, and make tags.

My Files is your place to access, edit, and store ALL of your files and folders located on your school network and cloud drives from any device. You can view, edit and save these files, from ANY device, instantaneously.
Quick Cards are available to print for K-2 teachers only. To print them for your class, follow the instructions in this support document from ClassLink.
How can I request an app or service be added to ClassLink? Users do not have access to add apps and services to ClassLink. They must be added by the ClassLink admin. If there is a site or app you use with students that requires them to sign in and it's not included in ClassLink you can make a request by submitting an IT Ticket. Please note that making a request does not necessarily mean that the request will be granted. Many factors will go into this decision:
Is the app/service EdLaw2D compliant AND has it been approved for use by the district? (see Approved Software Page)
Is it commonly used across a building/grade level or is it particular to just a few classrooms?
Remove Saved Passwords in Chrome - We all do it. We login to a site, and Chrome asks us if we want the browser to remember our password. Sounds great so we hit the save button. Well, having saved passwords in Chrome can actually interfere with the ability of ClassLink to operate properly. This video will show you how to manage and remove saved passwords in Chrome.
