Application and Registration Steps
To decide what to take, work with your school counselor! Your counselor can help put together a plan that is a mixture of Dual Enrollment and AP courses to meet the college general education CalGETC requirement.
Create a CCCApply account and complete the application for Spring 2027
If you took a Dual course in Fall 2026, you can skip to step 3.
Winter 2027 is for returning students only (students who are taking a Dual Enrollment course in Fall/Fall Late Start 2026).
New students: Create a DualEnroll.com account and follow the steps.
Parent/Guardian confirms in DualEnroll (once only).
ERHS will review student's eligibility. Students who have multiple deficient grades in high school courses may be denied to take Dual courses at this time.
Students select courses in DualEnroll
Winter: Only students who took classes in Fall 2026 may take courses in Winter term.
Spring: Up to 2 courses, 8 units max
Some students who've successfully completed 10 units of Dual courses may overload by selecting more courses in Fall. A Norco College counselor will review and approve or deny.
Course Type: Select Online or High School courses only (courses with red laptop or blue graduation cap icons).
Online courses (red laptop icon) are asynchronous classes on Canvas.
High School courses (blue grad cap) are in-person courses offered in periods 1-6 at ERHS.
College Campus courses (green building icon) are not Dual Enrollment, but are Concurrent Enrollment. Concurrent Enrollment process is different than Dual Enrollment and is not for most students. See the FAQ and this comparison chart for more information regarding Concurrent.
