Drop with a W: If you find your coursework is too much to handle, you can drop with a W. While a W will be reflected on your college transcript showing that a course was attempted, it may be better than potentially earning a D/F grade in your Dual Enrollment course.
You can drop in DualEnroll -- Status -- Drop (to the right of the course listed). The deadline is November 14, 2025 for the full term Fall.
We are looking for up to 60 9th graders to start a new 9th grade cohort of taking 1 in-person Dual Enrollment course per semester throughout high school.
For the 2025 school year, the courses during periods 1 and 6 would be:
The ideal student would be a student who:
Is not in a program (e.g. AVID, Dual Immersion, Puente, STEM, or Umoja) as students in programs have impacted 4 year plans
Had a middle school GPA of 2.5-3.5
Is committed to taking Dual Enrollment courses in 9th grade and preferably all four years
Is interested in potentially earning an associate's degree while in high school
Is ready for independence in tackling the enrollment and college-going process
Is interested in being the very first to join this new cohort model at ERHS
If you are in a program or have a GPA outside of the 2.5-3.5 range, please reach out! This is a pilot program so we are open to any student interested.
If this sounds like you, please do the following:

Spring 2026: MUS-23 History of Rock & Roll
Email or visit your School Counselor to ensure your high school College Course period matches the MUS-23 period you chose in DualEnroll.
Once your high school schedule changes, report to that classroom, even if your course hasn't started.

Eleanor Roosevelt High School at Corona Norco Unified School District and Norco College have a partnership that allows eligible students the opportunity to take select college courses earning college credit while still in high school for no cost to tuition. These courses are offered in the fall, winter, spring, and summer terms and are taught by Norco College instructors on the ERHS campus or online.
Update as of 7.31.2025: Students interested in Dual Enrollment are able to take courses throughout 9th-12th grade. The first course 9th grade students can take is GUI-47 in the fall at the soonest. Starting winter of 9th grade through 12th grade, students can take any course they meet the prerequisites for.
Note: Beginning Fall 2025, Dual Enrollment courses will no longer be weighted in your high school GPA. Your grade for the course will be out of 4.0 instead of 5.0 in your high school GPA. Note that universities may calculate GPA differently (e.g. UCs/CSUs calculate an a-g GPA).
Dual Enrollment courses may count towards graduation requirements and credits. Most will continue to count as elective credits only.
Concurrent Enrollment follows a different process. Please check out the FAQ for more information the difference between Dual Enrollment and Concurrent Enrollment. Approval to take those courses are limited.
Click on the image for more information from CNUSD.
Dual Enrollment has no cost tuition to all students who are eligible
Most courses have zero cost textbooks (some courses will require the purchasing of a textbook)
Dual Enrollment courses are cohorted with other high school students
Dual Enrollment courses are offered online and/or on the ERHS campus for the students' convenience
Credit-bearing college courses may count as core or elective high school credits
Dual Enrollment courses are CSU and/or UC transferable following the CalGETC pattern
For most students, Dual Enrollment courses are in addition to your existing ERHS course load. Be sure to be mindful of your existing workload and extracurricular activities before adding on Dual Enrollment courses.
Concurrent Enrollment are courses taken outside of CNUSD or Dual Enrollment (e.g. UC Scout, Chaffey College, Silicon Valley HS, Mt. SAC, etc.). Norco College Concurrent Enrollment courses are found under College Campus in DualEnroll (only Online or High School Campus course are considered Dual Enrollment).
If the course your student is interested in taking is offered in ERHS/eSTEM and Dual Enrollment, it is best for them to take it through those channels. Students who select Concurrent Enrollment courses (as indicated by College Campus) in DualEnroll may be denied. If you receive a denial, it does not mean you cannot take the course for enrichment or interest; it means the grade cannot be brought onto the ERHS transcript.
As of Fall 2025, Norco College Concurrent Enrollment approval/denial is through DualEnroll and no additional paperwork is needed.
Students looking to take other courses outside of CNUSD must complete this FORM and submit it to ERHSDualEnrollment@cnusd.k12.ca.us or Mr. Baier (B235) or Ms. Cabal (T122). This form must be submitted prior to starting the course. If the course you wish to take is college concurrent enrollment (outside of Norco College), you may have additional documentation to submit along with this form.
Note that the approval/denial process takes a minimum of a week. The form will return to you in class once it has been reviewed and is approved/denied.
Keep up to date with Dual Enrollment information including course availability, changes, support times by the Dual Team, and other information. Join the Remind based on your graduating year.
