Medical Centre
Please take a moment to look at the school's medical centre policy for managing pupils with medical conditions.
Please ensure that you keep me up-to-date with any changes in your child's health. I can then discuss an individual health care plan with you and your child to ensure that they are able to access their education despite any ongoing health conditions or issues.
If your child takes antihistamines we require a consent form filled in before we are able to give any. This is due to a change in the health can safety law. The form required is below, please either print, complete, sign and return or download and email the completed form, with signature, to the above email address.
Please ensure that if your child requires an adrenaline auto-injector (AAI) please ensure that they carry 2 pens on them at all times. You are able to keep one pen in the medical centre as a spare if needed. The school has one generic AAI that is allowed to be given to pupils with existing AAI and consent given. If you need to give consent please contact me on the email above.
Please ensure that your child carries their reliver (ventolin/ Salbutamol) inhaler with them. You can store a spare in the medical centre and we have a spare inhaler for those with a diagnosis of asthma and consent. If you need to give consent please contact me on the email above.
Please do not send your child into school if they have had diarrhoea or vomiting, without a known cause, they can return 48 hours after the last episode of diarrhoea or vomiting.
