We know our students, families and community are struggling with stressful events, including experiences of racism and bigotry. We believe you are in the best position to have important conversations to support your child. We wanted to share the following resource for those of you who are perplexed about how to engage in these difficult conversations with your child and process these traumatic events. As Superintendent Earnest Winston stated “We are here to listen to your concerns, share perspectives, and discuss how we can work together to develop our own mindsets such that our community is inclusive and fosters equality.” Even though it is the summer, we want you to know we are thinking of you and that there are resources available. – The McClintock Student Support Services Team
