About Mr. Logan

This is my 7th year at McClintock Middle School, a place I have had a strong connection to my whole life. I am originally from Southern Pines, NC, but my mom and many other family members attended McClintock. I have called Charlotte home for 20 years. I attended Elon University and have a degree in History. After working in the mental health field with teenagers, I discovered my passion for supporting youth during both their best and worst times.  This discovery led me to UNCC where I received a Master’s degree in School Counseling.  My areas of service and experience are career/college preparation, anxiety/depression and mental health, brief counseling, ADHD, and crisis counseling.  I have worked in CMS as a school counselor for the past 15 years at both the elementary and middle school level.

When not at school, I usually spend time outdoors with my son and our dog.  I love sports, history and traveling.   It is a privilege to do what I love in a place that I care so much about.  Thank you for allowing me to support you and your child through the often-turbulent time that is middle school.

About Ms. DuBard

My name is Tiye Dubard and I grew up in Columbia, SC.  I started working in Charlotte in 2019 and I moved to Charlotte in 2023.  I attended Winthrop University and am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina. Middle school can be such a challenging time so I want to help my students know that they are seen and valued. I specialize in teaching coping skills to help manage anxiety and other challenging emotions. The most enjoyable part of my job is creating fun classroom guidance lessons for my students. I also love finding ways to incorporate arts and crafts activities when I meet with students and finding new fidget toys or sensory items for my office.  I have two dogs named Ollie and Titan.  In my free time, I enjoy taking care of my plants, singing, doing yoga, journaling, playing video games, cleaning and binge watching tv shows.
