Naviance
CMS Launchpad
An online resource that provides students with college planning and career assessment tools. Students can access Naviance through Clever on NCEdCloud.
CFNC
CFNC promotes access to North Carolina higher education and assists students with education planning, career planning, and applying and paying for college.
College Board
The College Board helps students prepare for a succession transition to college through programs and services in college readiness and success, including the SAT and Advanced Placement Program.
ACT
ACT offers a free, mobile resource to help you learn more about yourself and the college and career paths you want to explore.
GRADE LEVEL PROMOTION REQUIREMENT CRITERIA
9th grade to 10th grade:
ANY 6 credits from high school. They do not have to be from any certain subject area.
Credits from middle school do not count towards promotion requirements, so please do not include them in your total.
10th grade to 11th grade:
Must have a minimum of 12 credits earned in high school.
Credits from middle school do not count towards promotion requirements, so please do not include them in your total.
Of the 12 credits, students must have a credit for English I, English II, and Math 1.
If Math 1 is from middle school, it counts toward the requirement but not the credit total.
11th grade to 12th grade:
Must have a minimum of 18 credits earned in high school.
Credits from middle school do not count towards promotion requirements, so please do not include them in your total.
Of the 18 credits, students must have a credit for English I, English II, and Math 1.
If Math 1 is from middle school, it counts toward the requirement but not the credit total.
