The Bridge Foundation Scholarship

The Bridge Scholarship is a $20,000 four-year scholarship, $2,500 at the beginning of each semester, awarded to the student who can best present their case to receive the scholarship to the Bridge Foundation. To date the Bridge Foundation has funded almost $400,000 in tuition payments for Mecklenburg County students. Ethnic Minority Scholarship

The Ethnic-Minority Scholarship application period is now OPEN! The scholarship is open to all high school seniors in Mecklenburg County. Legacy applicants of Alpha Lambda Omega sorors may reside in a county outside of Mecklenburg County.

Application packages must be submitted electronically via the application link: here.  Applicants should visit the Ethnic Minority Scholarship page for scholarship package requirements.

Merit Scholarships

The NCSDAR Cordon Street Endowment Gift Scholarship that will be awarded to two worthy students entering or enrolling in academically accredited technical schools, community colleges, or universities. The 2023 awards will be $1,500 each to two students, for a total of $3,000.  Each scholarship awarded will be presented to an accredited school in the student’s name, should they be enrolled.
