General Transcript Requests:

Students requesting a copy of their transcript can email akhstranscripts@gmail.com from a PERSONAL (non school) email account with the following details:

1. Name

2. Reason for request

3. Format (pdf emailed, printed, official printed & sealed)

Students can expect a response from this account within 3-5 school days during the school year. 

This email is NOT for requesting college admissions transcripts or withdrawing from AK. These emails will not receive a response. 

Examples of requests that will be approved:

• Athletic recruitment  

• Scholarships (that don't require portal access by a counselor)

• Personal use (calculating GPA, exploring classes/colleges)

• Meeting with a college advisor

• Taking to a college visit

• Proof of enrollment for DMV/Taxes/Disability

Class of 2024

Initial Transcripts:

If you are a Class of 2024 student, you will receive instructions on how to request your transcript be sent to colleges during your senior appointment at the beginning of the school year. You do not need to request transcripts before your appointment.  Transcripts will be sent electronically through Naviance directly to the institution. There will be plenty of time for them to be received before the first early decision deadlines. You can submit an application before a transcript-the school will match them up when they get both. 

Mid-Year Transcripts:

Seniors will be able to request mid-year transcripts when they are available after grades are stored at the end of first semester. Please use Powerschool to self-report for schools that do not require an official mid-year transcript.

Final Transcripts:

Final transcripts will automatically be sent as soon as they are available to the college that you indicate you will be attending in Naviance. On your Naviance account, go to "Colleges I'm Applying To" and enter the school you will be attending at the bottom. Counselors will send your final transcript through Naviance this summer when they are finalized.
