This is my 25th year as a high school counselor, and my 17th year as a counselor at Ardrey Kell High School. I received my undergraduate degree from Virginia Wesleyan College and my Masters in Counseling from Old Dominion University.

I have also worked as a college admission counselor and gifted resource teacher.  I am a high school counselor because I enjoy supporting students throughout their four years of high school. I am excited for the school year.

In my free time, I like to watch sports, play sports, shop, go to the beach, travel and spend time with my family.

Tips and tricks/advice for students:  Use your agenda for organization.  Don’t wait until your junior year to start visiting colleges. Start your college search early, so you know the requirements for the schools in which you have interest. I look forward to working with you this year.
