The Democrats have not done well at all in the 2019 debates. They missed several important topics in the debates, which rival politicians like Republican Senator (Texas) Ted Cruz were quick to point out. The left has also brought so many bad policy ideas to the table. Senator Kamala Harris wants to “hold social media platforms accountable for the hate infiltrating their platforms.” This is not a good idea because if they can censor the media, they might exercise this power more in the future, marginalizing our rights to Freedom of the Press and Freedom of Speech. Another bad idea from Senator Kristen Gillibrand was to force everyone to buy fertility treatment insurance.

In fact, the only way that Democrats might win is if Donald Trump gets impeached. While possible, impeachment is far from a sure thing and so Democrats need to get away from attacking one another, proposing ludicrous policies, and focusing too heavily on Trump. After all, the 45th president has shown himself to be a narcissist, if not an outright megalomaniac, and so the best way to defeat him just might be to ignore him; tweet by incoherent tweet.
