Auto Shop Club welcomes students new and old, experienced or not. Here there is even more to do in the auto shop. Only meeting twice a month after school and once a month on club days. Interest, dedication, and creativity is needed, so don't be afraid to get your hands dirty!
Annual required membership to Skills USA of $14.
Annual competition against Northwest's Auto Shop program.
Skills USA also has state and national competition.

Article I: Name
The name of this organization shall be the "Auto Shop Club."
Article II: Purpose
The purpose of the Auto Shop Club is to provide a community for individuals interested in automotive maintenance, repair, and customization, and to facilitate learning, sharing of knowledge, and collaboration on projects.
Article III: Membership
Membership is open to MLR students. Open to other students who complete safety exam with 100% score and visit 2 meetings before allowed on the shop floor. Members are expected to participate in club activities and follow the rules outlined in this document.
Article IV: Officers
The Club shall have the following officers:
President| Oversees meetings and represents the club.
Vice President| Assists the President and steps in when needed.
Treasurer| Budgeting for club funds.
Safety Officers| Overwatches projects and identifies safety concerns.
(Officers shall be elected annually by a majority vote of the members.)
Article V: Meetings
After school meetings shall be held every other Tuesday afterschool until 4:30pm.
