The mission of HOSA is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the
global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.

leadership, professionalism, and teamwork through competitions, conferences, and service
opportunities
What HOSA Members Do?
Compete: Participate in regional, state, and international competitions that test skills in areas like medical terminology, CPR, and public health.
Get certified: Receive training and certifications in medical skills like CPR and first aid.
Develop leadership skills: Take on leadership roles within the chapter, such as electing officers and running meetings.
Serve the community: Engage in volunteer work and community service projects, such as running health booths at events or assisting at local organizations.
Build a professional network: Connect with peers, alumni, and industry professionals through the club's network.
