Electronic Transcript Requests
To request your transcript to be sent electronically through the National Clearinghouse please follow the directions below.
To request a transcript for scholarships and/or unofficial transcripts, please complete a paper transcript request that can be picked up in the school counseling office.
To request a transcript using the electronic National Clearinghouse, you MUST first apply to the
school/college then:
• Log into ClassLink
• Click on the School Transcript Dashboard (Tree)
a. Click Start
Reminder, you SHOULD apply to the college BEFORE requesting a transcript.
• You will complete each of the tabs at the top page
a. Select Sender
▪ Institution Name- Enter Kenwood and select the search button
b. Student Information-Fill in asterisks (ie: name, etc) and use finger mousepad to sign
▪ Immediate-All colleges will require an Initial transcript
▪ Mid year-Only some colleges require a Mid year transcript (if so, request after rank in January,
no need to request for Common App, this will be sent for you)
▪ End of Term-All colleges will require a Final transcript (request in late May)
c. Select Recipient-Find the College (you can send to multiple schools). If your school is not found, you will need to fill out a paper transcript request form. (Paper forms are in Counseling Office)
d. Review Order
e. Customer & Billing Information-You will need to enter Customer & Billing Information to checkout. *Sending your transcript is FREE as an enrolled senior*
Common App users WILL NOT request an electronic transcript in the National Clearinghouse, this is automatically sent through Common App you have applied to the college.
