Gates Scholarship
This is a last dollar scholarship so amounts will vary. Applicants must be from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Must be Pell-Eligible, and a US citizen, national, or permanent resident. Applicants must have a 3.3 GPA and be Pell eligible.

P.E.O. STAR Scholarship
The STAR scholarship is national scholarship for senior women. It is a highly competitive scholarship, and the candidate has to meet the following qualifications:
1. Exhibits excellence in leadership, academics, extracurricular activities, community service and the potential for future success.
2. Will be in the final academic year (senior year) of her secondary education and is 20 years of age, or under, at the end of the calendar year.
3. Has a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
4. Is a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States or Canada.
5. Plans to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institution in the United States or Canada, either full-time or part-time in the fall of the academic year following her high school graduation.
6. Is recommended by, and receives the vote of P.E.O. Chapter BI in Clarksville.

150 awards for $20,000 each. Based on academic achievement (must have a 3.0), extracurricular activities, and community service.
