Submit a video (2 minutes or less in length) that addresses these questions:
What is your passion and how are you currently pursuing it?
How do you plan to use your passion to uniquely make a positive change in your community or the world?
How will your education help enable you to pursue your passion and make a change?
Your submission video must be between 30 seconds and 2 minutes in length. Think about filming this video on a phone, computer, tablet, or any other MP4 video-enabled camera to which you have access. It could be a short film, animation, or a simple testimonial. This isn’t about how well you can make a film—we want to learn more about you, your passion and how you plan to ignite change in your community and beyond!

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
JRF Scholars receive college scholarships of up to $35,000 over four years and are financially sponsored to attend JRF‘s annual, four-day “Mentoring and Leadership Conference“ in New York City and other events throughout the year. Aside from generous financial support, Scholars benefit from a comprehensive, four-year program that includes career guidance, internship and permanent job placement, travel abroad, and leadership and practical life skills training.
Plan to attend an accredited and approved 4-year college within the United States or affiliated with a United States-based college or university

APIA Scholarship (Asian & Pacific Islander American)
Scholarship amounts range from $2,500 one-year awards to $20,000 multi-year awards. APIA Scholars has a special focus on supporting AANHPI students who live at or below the poverty line; are in the first generation of their family to attend college; are representative of the APIA community’s diversity, (geographically and ethnically}, especially those ethnicities that have been underrepresented on college campuses due to limited access and opportunity. Strong applicants would also have an emphasis on community service and leadership.

Must apply for federal financial aid for the 2025-2026 academic year using the Free Application for the Federal Student Aid (FASFA) by early April 2025

The Recommender deadline is one week earlier: January 12, 2025, at 5PM Eastern.
