The 2024 Open House for families interested in the Academies of CMCSS will have both an in-person and virtual option. If you have a rising 8th grader currently enrolled in CMCSS, you are invited to explore the opportunities available through the Career and Technical Education programs.

Is an academy right for your student?
Academy students will be immersed in four years of core and elective classes that are aligned to the Academy’s career theme. Therefore, students should have a genuine interest in deeply exploring the career pathway to which they apply. Project-based learning is a keystone of the Academy experience, so students will need to be able to confidently manage their time and effectively communicate with teachers and classmates.
