This scene opens in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges in South Australia, The students are a little dizzy from the bus ride but ready for adventure. As they joke about their journey, they learn their first Adnyamathanha words from a friendly Brushtail possum named Virlda, who teaches them Nangga, Yakarti - which means "Welcome, children come". After a comical surprise when Evan is found hiding in a suitcase, Virlda asks for their help with a friend named Yari in Broome. Though hesitant at first, the students decide to show empathy and continue their language learning journey North, guided by curiosity, courage, and a touch of magic. The rest of the story is for you to watch…
