Our school play is called Ngulu Nganjin and our class is in Scene One. Children arrive, everyone is pumped for camp, the bus rolls in. But Evan can’t find his permission slip! Looking everywhere frantically in his bag and pockets, it is nowhere to be seen. Jessie, the lover of school work, threatens to tell the teacher, but Morgan quickly takes Jessie away to start a head count. Despite Morgan agreeing with Jessie, Morgan has other plans. She will try a stunt of fitting a child in a suitcase! With many complaints and arguments from Evan, he agrees to hop in. Jessie comes back, clueless of what just happened. Will Evan survive the long journey to the Ikara-Flinders Ranges? Will Jessie find out that Evan has come along after all? You’ll have to stay and find out!
By Freddie and Mateo
The songwriting team attended workshops with Bridget A’Beckett, and brainstormed melodic and lyric ideas that Bridget then took away and transformed into songs.

Teacher 2 played by Emma
Hi! I’m Emma and I’m eleven years old. I enjoy soccer and footy. I am so excited for this play because mostly you would see me on the soccer field or the swimming pool but doing a production is something you wouldn’t usually catch me doing.
I can’t wait for this play because the Indigenous languages will make it a lot more engaging. I hope you enjoy this play as much as I do!
Receptionist played by Arvy
Hi! I’m Arvy and I'm eleven years old. I enjoy cooking, basketball and geography. I am excited to play the receptionist because of their bossy character traits. It cracks me up every time I think about it! You will often see my bossy face behind students ticking off things on my clipboard.
Hope you enjoy the show!
