Hi! I’m Lucy, I’m 12 years old and I play the character Jesse. Even though I don’t relate to this character much, it is fun to use lots of expression and personality when acting this role!

Morgan played by Augie 

Hi! I’m Augie, I’m 11 years old and I play the character Morgan. I think Morgan is a lot like me except for the egocentric bit of course. He’s funny and likes to make people laugh… just like me :) 

Sam played by Phoebe 

Hey! I’m Phoebe, I’m 11 years old and I play Sam. I’m glad to be this character because I love footy and my older sister Sophie played Sam in the production in 2022! I’m looking forward to the play because this is my first school production. 

Evan played by Otto 

Hi! I’m Otto and I am 12 years old. I play the character Evan. It has been fun rehearsing.and I love pretending to be on the beach with Freddy.

Alex played by Matilda 

Hi! I’m Matilda, I’m 12 years old and I play the character Alex. I love playing Alex because they are shy, a bit like myself. I’ve been in a few plays before, and it’s something I love doing, so I’m very happy to be part of the 6KD cast!

Charlie played by Ivy 

Hi! I’m Ivy, I’m 12 years old and I play the character Charlie. I am excited to play Charlie because I have never been in a play before. Although I don’t have much in common with my character, I am happy to have a speaking role.

Hi! I’m Mohamed, I am 12 years old. I play a background character. I have enjoyed teaching my class some Somali words and I get to say “goodbye’ in 9 languages in the play!

Madeleine

Hi! I’m Madeleine, I’m 12 years old and I play a background character. I am excited to be in the play because this is my first school production and I love performing.

Abi

Hi, my name’s Abi, I’m 12 years old, and I play a background character and I wrote the music for our scene. Music is a real passion of mine, so it was really fun to write for the production. Also, although you may think it’s easy to be a background character, it’s not! The way you sit, the way you react, and your overall personality and emotion throughout the performance is a key part of the energy of the scene!

Hi! I’m Rania, I’m 11 years old and I play a background character. I like being in the background because I can watch what is going on.

Hi! I’m Oriana, I am 11 years old and I play a background character. I really like being part of the production because we get to learn about Aboriginal culture and language. I have a connection with Wiradjuri country and am giving an Acknowledgment of Country at the start of the show.

Hi! I’m Ada and I am 11 years old. I loved learning new Indigenous words and rehearsing. I also really enjoyed doing the production itself.

Izzy

Hi! I’m Izzy, I’m 12 years old and I play a background character. I also play the piano during our song. I have loved learning the song and rehearsing every week. 

Freddy

Hi! I’m Freddy and I am 12 years old. I play a background character and although it’s not a lead role, my character is Danish like me. I feel like I can really show my background and who I am.

Hi! I’m Freddie, I’m 11 years old and I play a background character and I also have some speaking lines. I am glad to be in the school production so I get to experience acting when I am young, to see if I enjoy it.

Hi! I’m Adrielle, I’m 12 years old and I play a background character, and it’s ok. It’s fun watching other people showcase their talent, they impress me in every rehearsal. I like being a background character because it’s sometimes good just to watch from the back and it’s a great experience observing the main roles.

Hi! I’m Ray, I’m 12 years old and I play a background character. I really enjoy pretending to build and the digging movements we do during the song.

Hi! I’m Anna, I’m 11 years old and I play a background character and I also have some speaking lines. I find being a background character not too bad because I get to do the fun parts and have fun with my friends. I also love singing!

Hi! I’m Tess, I’m 12 years old and I play a background character. I am slightly nervous and excited to be a background character as I have slight stage fright. I am looking forward to playing the guitar during our scene’s song.
