Scientific Name: Callistemon rigidus

Native to: East and south-east of Australia.

Maximum size: 15x12 feet

Life Span: native to Australia, also it use as ornamentals in warm climates in the United States and elsewhere.

  • Interesting Facts: Bottlebrush naturally grows in wet locations, including areas that are prone to flooding. You can plant them in similarly moist soil in the garden, but they will also grow in well-drained soil. For the first year, water enough to keep the soil moist so plants can develop a deep root system.
  • This tree derives its name from the fact that the bright red flowers that it bears have the shape of a bottlebrush
