- fireworks
- smoke bombs
- pesticides
- important in the production of steel
Where is it found?
- First isolated by boiling and filtering about 60 buckets of urine in 1669 by a German alchemist and physician Hennig Brand
- Now it is obtained by phosphate rock
- Phosphorus is in many foods including: turkey, pork, seafood, dairy, pumpkin seeds, nuts, and beans.
