CDHS Counseling encourages all Titan scholars to get involved in some type of team, club, or organization here at CDHS. We also believe that scholars who are able to be successful in their school-life balance should seek out opportunities to volunteer, intern, apprentice, and/or work outside of school.
Involvement in extracurriculars provides students with leadership opportunities, helps them to develop teamwork and innovation skills, motivates them to engage more in their learning, allows them to invest in their postsecondary goals and interests, creates a more active and positive learning atmosphere in the CDHS building, and forges powerful bonds within our school and community. Not to mention, extracurruciculars are a great way to bolster a college application, scholarship application, or resume! Below is information on school-based and community-based extracurricular opportunities for Titan scholars.
