Purpose:
We intend to prepare slides an use already prepared slides and observe and detail views of organisms dead or alive through a microscope. We want to identify cellular properties on all of the samples.
Materials:
Light microscope,
Microscope pre prepared slides,
Microscope slides,
Microscope coverslips,
Pipette.
Pre Prepared Slide: Rabbit Intestine
This is a rabbit intestine we can see all of the animal cells at make it up. The blue is a different type of cell that’s part of the big picture. There are more colored parts in the pink area showing us different types of cells. All of the circular blobs are cells that make up the intestinal lining!

Pre Prepared Slide: Spleen
The black needle is a pointer inside the microscope lens to provide a reference point between zoom lenses. The pink circular blobs are animal cells making up the spleen. We can see the way cell interact with each other from a still picture because they have a little space in between each other but sometimes touch each other this tell us that cells are constantly moving and connecting to each other.

Pre Prepared Slide: Fruit Fly
This is the head of a fruit fly the very large red dot is its eye which is almost its entire head! You can see lines coming out of the head and body those lines are hairs. The fly is also a yellowish color because of the light underneath the microscope.

Personally Prepared Slide: Lint
This is a picture of lint the long black pinkish strands are hairs and clothing fibers that have collected over time kinda like a snowball. The black needle is a reference tool for when you change zooms. The darker parts of the hairs are the ones further up and the thinner or less bright ones are further down.

Personally Prepared Slide: Onion Skin
You can see the cells of the onion skin they are the blocks or blobs. If you look closely you can see another layer underneath the top one. There are little squares or rectangles inside a bunch of cells which I think might be dust that’s underneath it or on top of it and or water that made bubbles.

Conclusion:
In the bigger objects, I noticed the individual cells that all seemed to be random shapes and sizes but all similar in that sense. In the smaller objects, I could not see their cells but I could make out fine detail Such as micro hairs and fibers. Another thing I noticed was the plant cells and animal cells were very easily distinguishable as plant cells were bigger and sharper and animal cells were rounder and smaller. Animal cells were much more diverse as they had many types of cells making everything up.
