Student Schedules will be distributed in mid-August. An appointed time will be provided for students to make changes. After this opportunity, only limited schedule changes will be permitted during a three school day drop/add period. After this time, any courses dropped will result in Withdrawal Failure (WF) on the transcript.

The ninth grade is considered the beginning of high school. All courses taken in grades 9-12 are recorded by title and performance (grade) on a high school transcript. This document then becomes the official record. Absences and tardies are also included on this permanent record.

Required courses that are failed MUST be recouped via summer credit recovery or repeating the course. Arrangements must be made through the counseling office.

Promotion and Retention: In grades 9-12, promotion shall be based on units of credit which may be earned by successful completion of specific courses. Promotion to grade 10 requires a minimum of four (4) units of credit. Promotion to grade 11 requires a minimum of ten (10) credits. Promotion to grade 12 requires a minimum of sixteen (16) units of credit or the ability to schedule sufficient courses to complete all graduation requirements by the end of the twelfth grade.

Seniors who have failed no more than 2 courses, and are enrolled in an approved credit recovery program may participate in graduation ceremonies and activities, but will not receive their diploma until the school receives proof of successful completion of recovery courses.
