From February 24, we have transitioned our online giving platform from Pushpay to Tithely across all Brisbane locations.
Why the change?
- We are making this change to simplify the giving experience, introduce Apple Pay, and prepare well for future app developments later this year.
- Where previously bank fees were payable by the church, Givers now have an option to cover fees if they choose.
How can people give?
- Through our website - citipointechurch.com/giving
- Select your location and you will be taken to the new giving page
- You do not need to create an account in order to give
Important note for recurring givers
If you currently have recurring giving set up through Pushpay, we will be emailing you next week with details on how to cancel this and re-establish recurring giving through Tithely.
At the moment, people can still continue to give in the same way that you always have via the QR code, the app, direct deposit or at the giving station or by swiping their EFTPOS card on our machines.
Someone has a question you can't answer?
Write a note in the blue comm book and we'll follow them up on Monday.
Growth track has been replaced by the new Equip Pathways. People can go to the Lounge to register. Held on a week night (when it’s on) in L1. I will also print a copy for the roller door for easy read.
Friday Services are the focus as our main way to connect with teenagers weekly. If that does not work with a teenager's schedule then there is lifegroups. You can put a note in the blue comms book and the Youth team will help the parent connect their child the following week.
Sunday Services
POP UP COURSES that happen every week during the 8:30am Sunday service at Society House. All kids are welcome. They can literally walk up the hill and check in.
STUDENT TEAM that happens every week during the 10:15am Sunday Service at Society House. All kids are welcome. They can literally walk up the hill and check in.
Liam is the point person for both.
NB You can tell parents at the 5pm Service we have over 150 teenagers connected as the main Sunday Youth engagement service. Most of these Youth sit on the left hand side of the auditorium.
If none of these work.. we kindly encourage students to sit in the main service with the adults.
Hope this helps clarify. We do not do Sunday Connect anymore. With our current growth it has been cancelled due to its ineffectiveness to not just engage students but transform them into growing Christians. This also came as a massive commitment to volunteers that are already out 4/3 days a week for Youth Ministry.
Addressing this as we had a question about it last week.
We use a really good quality hazer (it’s not smoke) which allows us to use the least allergenic haze available. It’s necessary for us to provide the lighting that we do in such a large building.
Please take a name and number for the Com Book for these types of questions (not for someone who is wanting to join a group - send them to the Lounge .

We provide 8 spaces for Seniors parking. I believe they may have run out last week. You can tell people we provide special parking out front of the cafe, sectioned off by orange cones. We thank people for letting us know if they have run out so we can put out more.
