Brief Report/Updates

A brief report on the outreaching on De Anza so far (as 10/8): (website w/ recording & screenshots etc.)

  • We have 6+16+11+1=34 new contacts (+6 see below); the great majority had good conversations with the saints and gave us their phone numbers.

    • One, Kevin, prayed to received the Lord! We also got reconnected with Eden!

    • As far as we knew, it seemed every 2's or 3's going got new contacts! We all found the students in general much more open than before the pandemic.

  • In addition, we had four more who found us thru De Anza club list and initiated the contact with us, plus two thru Virtual Club Day, including Jessica Lukius (Joshua/Josephine's cousin)!

  • 4 new ones joined our 1st Thursday online Bible study (tripled our number of students!)

  • Another 4 also joined the 2nd Bible study; more in other ways.

  • Another 3 joined the 3rd Bible study; Foothill also started an in-person pod!

  • Please remember these ones:

    • May Seng (1st Bible study; 10/2 SAT activity; family from Burma)

    • Helen Desta (1st Bible study; weekly time on campus; family from Ethiopia)

    • Mark Camarena (on-campus appointment, 2nd & 3rd Bible study; Hispanic)

    • Adi (1st & 2nd & 3rd Bible study; Foothill; family from Fiji)

      • Natasha Muller (2nd & 3rd Bible study; Caucasian)

    • Amy Murata (1st Bible study; probably Japanese)

      • Sabrina Solligue (2nd Bible study; very positive response)

    • Yllah Taccad (2nd Bible study; very positive response)

    • Paulo (3rd Bible study; Foothill)

      • Sandy (3rd Bible study; Foothill; Caucasian)

      • Anthony Wun (3rd Bible study; Cynthia's contact, a De Anza student from Taiwan)

      • The Lord has also been advancing in Nicole, Enosh, Eli and Eden.

  • Please pray for the continual labor and follow-up with personal contact. The Bible study is just a gathering point for general watering. We pray for the specific feeding and shepherding thru personal relationship.

  • Please also pray to bind the enemy's work as recently a member of the Korean cult Shincheonji tried to make contact with our student club.
