Communication and language is at the heart of our Early Years curriculum and underpins everything we do. Therefore, in Science we give our Early Years pupils the tools to confidently begin to learn and confidently use scientific vocabulary, think scientifically communicate scientifically with their peers and their teachers.

The SPRING approach is underpinned by a focus on teaching and embedding Scientific vocabulary and gives opportunities for the pupils to work scientifically. These strong foundations enable the children to be successful in Science throughout their primary school learning journey and beyond!
