The priority of the Fire Safety Policy is to minimise the risk to life and to reduce injury by maintaining the physical safety of the School, ensuring that staff, students and visitors do not add to any risk and through safe evacuation of our buildings if required.
There are 4 Defibrillators on site. Please refer to the Map (opposite) for full details and call the Estates Assistants on 07528 353482 for assistance. The external defibrillator can be found at What 3 Words: https://w3w.co/gold.feast.lately and in the Pavilion at https://w3w.co/boots.rate.lots
If one of your visitors has an accident whilst on site, please report it to the Estates Assistant immediately and email details to The CHSE Enterprises Manager, so we can complete an online Accident Report as soon as possible.
Risk Assessments
Hirers must ensure their activity is fully risked assessed, (including emergency plans) and follow and communicate the National Body Guidelines (NGB) for the sport/ activity to all participants to ensure they adopt good practice when hiring the facilities at Cheadle Hulme School.
You will be asked to send your Risk Assessment, which must include emergency plans, as part of the terms of your Hire Agreement.
Cheadle Hulme School is committed to maintaining the safety and security of its pupils, staff, visitors, and those using the School grounds for other activities. The School will take all reasonable steps to protect the physical environment in which education takes place as well as all valuable items kept on education premises, this includes not only items of monetary value but also individual records and pupil work.
