Our 3G and Astro pitches are popular facilities.
The Astro is sand based and was resurfaced in 2024. It can be hired for football training (not suitable for matches) / hockey / lacrosse, between September to March.
The 3G pitch is available year round for football training and fixtures / rugby / lacrosse (there are no rugby posts.
Lacrosse hirers need to provide their own goals.

3G
The 3G Pitch is slightly smaller than a full 11-a-side pitch (as pictured right)
It is suitable for Football matches and training (a range of goals are available) / Rugby Training or U12 games (there are no rugby posts) or Lacrosse.
We take pride in the running and maintenance of our facilities which we hope you will enjoy the benefits of. Please help us to maintain the high quality of the facility by ensure that no spectators go onto the pitch and that our User Guide is followed and suitable footwear is worn (as detailed below)
please use footpaths for access to the 3G and not cut across the grass which transfers debris to the pitch
please wipe footwear before going on the pitch
please put goals away in the recesses after use and draw and tie back curtains.
Please note: The floodlights on the 3G have to be turned off at 8.50pm midweek (6pm weekends), due to planning restrictions.
The pitch will divide into halves.
Footwear
The Astro Pitch is available to hire (subject to availability) from September to April. In Summer 2024 a brand new carpet was laid. It divides into thirds.
It is suitable for hockey, Lacrosse, football training (not suitable for matches). The pitch is floodlit until 9pm midweek and 6pm at weekends and will split into thirds.
Please ensure suitable footwear (trainers ) are worn at all times and spectators do not go onto the playing surface .
The curtains must be drawn back and tied and goals pushed back to the fencing after use.
Hockey goals must not be used for football as it damages the nets which will charged for.
