This forms part of the conditions you must understand and agree to when signing your Cheadle Hulme School Enterprises Hire Agreement.
All hirers and visitors are politely requested to be respectful of our facilities and be mindful of the following requirements when using the facilities:
Activities must comply with applicable Procedures, Professional Governing bodies, and all Government guidelines, including Safeguarding requirements.
● ACCESS:
○ Visitors using CHS facilities should use their unique PIN code (where allocated) to access the site via the relevant pedestrian gates. (see the site map /follow relevant route signage).
○ Please adhere to the School’s site security procedures. Any PIN number given to hirers for access is only to share with your visitors and is not for general circulation
○ Please park carefully in the designated parking areas only, and DRIVE SLOWLY, being mindful of children/pedestrians on site.
○ Parking on-site is limited and is not guaranteed; if the site is busy, visitors will need to park, mindfully, off-site. Where possible, and in the interests of the environment, we encourage car sharing or walking.
SAFEGUARDING:
f your hire involves children or adults at risk, you must have appropriate Safeguarding policies and procedures in place, as fully detailed in your Hire Agreement and associated documents and our Safeguarding Page Here.
Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Please be aware that other groups using the facility may include children. We have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone whose conduct does not meet the expected standards. Failure to comply will result in an immediate ban from using the facilities.
Professional Conduct: All of your personnel are required to maintain a high standard of professionalism and conduct when interacting with or near children and young people. This strictly prohibits any inappropriate language, behaviour, or any unsupervised access to children.
Facilities: Please ensure adults and children use the clearly marked and separate toilet facilities. They must not be shared.
GENERAL
No Dogs are allowed on-site at any time
No Smoking /Vaping/tobacco / alcohol or illegal substances are allowed on site
The facilities must be kept clean and tidy and do not litter. Use the bins for any rubbish
No glass bottles /food to be taken in any of the facilities
No chewing gum
For health and safety reasons, no one should use the facilities (i.e. run onto the pitch / go in the pool) until they are instructed that it is clear and safe to do so.
Spectators must supervise any children not involved in the coaching/sport, at all times
Please be respectful of cross-over times between other hirers and our School practices.
Any damage or incident must be reported immediately to the Estates Assistants on 07528 353482
Intruders / anyone not involved in your hire should be politely asked to leave and the Duty Caretaker advised on 074528 353482
Hire of the Pool, in addition, must follow the Swimming Pool Guidelines and Operating Procedures.
○ All players must wear suitable, clean footwear on the Astro/3G (No studs or blades) - and wipe footwear before going on the pitches
Please refer to 3G Pitch user Guide for more details when hiring the 3G pitch.
○ DO NOT walk across the grass - use footpaths as debris is easily transferred onto the pitch surfaces (don't cut across from the pavilion to the 3G pitch)
○ Any equipment used must be carefully taken out, and put back, by the hirer/coach in charge.
○ Goals are on wheels. IF you need to move them, please put them on the wheels first and 2 adults should move these carefully.
