As an A level student, you have three lessons to juggle each wheel and a tutorial:
That adds up to 14.5 hours a week.
Each subject is worth four and a half hours per week over three lessons.
For Fine Art that is not enough!
You need to use the gaps between lessons or the late starts or early finishes to your lessons to take advantage of the use of the Fine Art classroom.
You can use the room any time you like: whether there is a class going on in the room or not.
The classroom has the best light levels of any room you will have access to. It has a sink, easels, walls that you can paint on, art materials and space. There is no where better for you to use.
In addition, you can work in here in peace and quiet and with others working, you will feel a strong creative atmosphere.
Plan for time management with materials and techniques: work in your sketchbook while you’re painting dries; work on multiple images simultaneously; stain background pages in your sketchbook whilst you work on your painting
Give yourself time to take advantage of input from teachers: don’t hit deadlines, manage time to show your work to teachers: get the most advice and then rework things based on that advice to improve
