California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation Scholarship

The California Latino Legislative Caucus Foundation (CLLCF) is pleased to invite all qualified California residents to apply for a scholarship. This scholarship program was established to assist deserving students by offering financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.

CANERS 2024 High School Student Scholarship

Application  Deadline: June 1st

Eligibility:

High school seniors that are residents of California and are attending a college or University in California with in an accredited undergraduate or graduate horticulture program or related discipline (attendance at an institution within California is not mandatory if you are a resident).  Must also be currently enrolled with a minimum of 6 units or more in a program related to the nursery industry during the semester the scholarship is granted. Preference will be given to those applicants who plan to work in any aspect of the industry in California (including owning their own business) following graduation.

A complete application includes:

1. Complete application form with e-signature.

2. Current transcripts (unofficial accepted).

3. Two letters of recommendation (current school year recommendation letters, signed and dated).

DUE June 1st, 2024 by 5:00 pm Pacific Time. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be considered.

Winners will be announced September 2024

No scholarship award monies will be issued until Plant California Alliance receives verification of enrollment

in six or more units of a horticulture (or related) program during the semester the scholarship is granted.

Central Valley Scholars Scholarship

We are proud to offer $25,000 in scholarships for Central Valley students during the 2022 year! Our scholarships recognize exemplary students in the Central Valley who, despite facing various obstacles, find the will to continue with their educational journey. We lead with the core belief that all students are worth investing in and we use non-traditional markers of success to reward students others often dismiss. Our scholarships invite vulnerability, encourage empowerment, and provide students in the Central Valley the space to validate their stories and find the beauty in their struggles. 


This year, we are offering $1,500 scholarships to students with the following identities: 

 

Two students will be selected for each scholarship. In addition to the listed scholarships, we are also offering a $4,000 Inspire Award for an inspirational Central Valley student. 

In order to qualify for our scholarships, students must:

 

Be enrolled at a community college, vocational school, or undergraduate university during the fall semester/quarter of 2022.

Have graduated from a high school, continuation school, or G.E.D school in the San Joaquin Valley by August 31st, 2022.

California Association  of Collectors Educational Scholarship

Application Deadline:  June 30th


CACESF’s (California Association  of Collectors Educational Scholarship Foundation) scholarship contest is open to current high school juniors and seniors who are enrolled in a California high school and will be attending any accredited public or private college, university, or trade school within 12 months of graduation.


The California Association of Collectors' Educational Scholarship Foundation will award a total of three scholarships at CAC's Annual Conference. First place winners will receive $2,500, second place winners will receive $2,000, and third-place winners will receive $1,500.
