Please indicate by putting an X on the line in front of the scholarship(s) you wish to apply for. Keep in mind you may only receive each scholarship once. We will be using one application for all scholarships, requiring you to send in only one copy. High School or College OFFICIAL transcript MUST BE included with the application, or if submitting by email, mailed to arrive by the due date, in order to be considered for a scholarship.
Please note that some scholarships require an interview, so be prepared to have an interview on Saturday, February 3 at the State Holstein Convention at Tenaya Lodge Once all scholarship applications are received, you will be given an interview appointment time.Please arrive 15 minutes early, dressed for an interview (i.e. dress/dress pants for girls, slacks and tie for boys). Applicants for Scholarships must plan to attend the Awards Banquet on Saturday evening.

Live Más Scholarship
Application Deadline: January 6th
How to Apply
Submit one (1) original response in ONE of the following formats:
Video (30 seconds–2 minutes), or
Essay (250–500 words). You may include one photo that represents your passion.
New Applicants:
Your response should address: (1) your passion and how you are pursuing it, (2) the impact you hope to make, and (3) how you embody the spirit of Live Más in your everyday life. The Live Más Scholarship Program is open only to individuals who meet all of the following criteria:
Applicant must be a legal resident of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”) located within the United States or D.C., or the dependent child of an active duty member of the U.S. military.
Between 16 and 26 years of age;
On track to apply for (pending receipt of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent) or currently enrolled in an accredited post-high school/post-secondary program (two‑year, four‑year, vocational‑technical, or trade);
Jackie Robinson Foundation
Application Deadline: January 7th
The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of students who aspire to attend college but to guide them through the process of higher education. Applications will open September 2, 2025.
Eligibility:
Be a graduating high school senior;
Be a United States citizen;
Present evidence of financial need;
Demonstrate a record of academic excellence;
Demonstrate leadership potential and a dedication to community service;
Plan to attend an accredited and JRF approved 4-year college/university within the United States or affiliated with a United States based college or university;
Have not accrued more than 25% of credits needed to graduate from college.

Dairy Farmers of America Cares Student Scholarship

If you’re dreaming of a future in food or agriculture, this could be your moment.
The DFA Cares Foundation Student Scholarship Program is officially open for 2026, and it’s all about supporting students as they pursue careers that can shape the future of food and farming.
DFA invests in today’s students to help advance our mission, vision, and values. If you’re a high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student interested in the food and agriculture industries, you may be eligible for one of our scholarships. Our goal is to help you pursue your educational aspirations and create a strong foundation for your future through our scholarship program.
Since its inception, the DFA Cares Foundation Student Scholarship Program has grown to honor an increasing number of outstanding students who have an interest in the food and agriculture industries. In 2025, DFA Cares awarded more than $86,000 to 67 students.
Youth on Course Scholarship

Since 2008, Youth on Course has proudly awarded over $3.2 million in scholarships to more than 300 deserving members. Remarkably, 40% of these scholarship recipients are the first in their families to attend college, paving the way and setting inspiring examples for others to follow. Each year approximately 20 scholarships will be awarded, ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 to be distributed over four years. Youth on Course Scholarships are need and merit-based. Golf participation is important, but skill is not a factor.
Eligibility:
Be a Youth on Course member (non-members can join at youthoncourse.org)
Be enrolled as a full-time senior in high school
Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Have applied to a four-year college/university
United States JCI Senate Foundation College/University Scholarship
Application Deadline: January 12th
The United States Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation will award $1500 or $2000 scholarship grants to graduating high school seniors who will continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university. Scholarships of $1000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who will attend an accredited vocational, technical or trade school program.
The number of grants awarded annually is at the discretion of the Foundation and must be used for educational expenses in the first year of full-time study following high school graduation. Checks awarded will be made out in the name of the recipient and will be paid directly to the educational institution of the recipient’s choice.
Eligibility:
Graduating high school seniors in the United States, who reside in a state that has an active JCI Senate program and a scholarship chairperson.
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this scholarship
Students must have a GPA of 3.75 and above will be considered for this scholarship
Each student must have an active, working email address listed

United States JCI Senate Foundation Vocational / Industrial Scholarship

The United States Junior Chamber International (JCI) Senate Foundation will award $1500 or $2000 scholarship grants to graduating high school seniors who will continue their education at an accredited post-secondary college or university. Scholarships of $1000 will be awarded to graduating high school seniors who will attend an accredited vocational, technical or trade school program.

National FFA Scholarships
Application Deadline: January 15th
Whether you are pursuing a trade school, vocational certificate or a two-year or four-year degree, don’t miss your chance to apply for a National FFA Scholarship to help with your next steps in education. If you are a senior FFA member in high school or FFA Alumni in college, just one application is required for multiple scholarship opportunities totaling nearly $2.5 million.
Criteria that apply to all scholarships are listed below.
ALL scholarship applicants must:
be a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, junior or senior.
be less than 23 years of age at the time of submitting the application.
plan to attend post-secondary school in the U.S.
be a full-time student who is actively attending classes.
must be a FFA Member.

Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation Scholarship
Application Deadline: January 16th
Scholarships are central to the mission of the Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation (AWAF). We are a dedicated professional organization focused on supporting the advancement of women in the automotive and mobility industries.
AWA FOUNDATION EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES:
Applicants for consideration of this scholarship must be accepted to a college or university.
Applicants must have and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA during a scholarship-funded semester.
If an applicant cannot accept the scholarship or if education is interrupted, the status of funds will be reviewed by AWAF Scholarship Committee.
The scholarship funds awarded will be valid at the college or university to be used toward tuition and fees.
The scholarship check will be awarded in the name of the applicant, student ID# and the educational institution.
Scholarship awards will be chosen by application. AWAF Scholarship Committee may conduct interviews.
Applicant must give written or electronic notification of acceptance within five (5) days of award notification.
This scholarship is open to North American citizens.

Who can apply?
Eligible fields of study include, but are not limited to the following:
Agribusiness with an emphasis in Plant Science, Botany, Plant or Seed Physiology; Plant Science and Soil Science.
Special interest in the seed industry is a plus.
High school graduating seniors, undergraduate and graduate students enrolling or enrolled on a full-time basis in college or universities in the state of California.

Coast Counties Peterbilt Truck and Equipment. / World Ag Expo Scholarship

The E.M. Tharp Scholarship will be awarded based on eligibility as outlined in the criteria below, as well as the quality of the application.
The grant will be sent to the university the recipient will be attending in the fall. The recipient of the scholarship must spend the grant on tuition, fees, books, or other educational-related expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
•Be a graduating high school senior during the 2025–2026 academic year.
Have been accepted to an accredited four-year university. If not yet accepted, please list the universities to which you have applied.
Demonstrate a clear intent to pursue educational and career goals related to agriculture.
Reside in one of the following California counties: Madera, Fresno, Tulare, Kings, or Kern.
Submit a completed scholarship application, including official transcripts and letters of recommendation.
Note: Incomplete, handwritten, or late applications will not be accepted.

California Farm Bureau Scholarships
Application Deadline: January 30, 2026
The California Farm Bureau Scholarship Foundation was organized to give aid to students with a desire to pursue a career in the agricultural industry. Scholarships are awarded annually based upon academic achievement, career goals, extracurricular activities, determination, leadership skills and a commitment to study agriculture.
Applications must be accompanied by the following items:
Two letters of recommendation, dated within the past three months, on official letterhead and signed.
Your most current high school and/or college transcript(s).
An essay describing your educational or personal experience that has led you to pursue a university education. Include reasons for your choice of major subject and your present plans for the future.
A recent, high-resolution headshot.
Please note that you are NOT eligible to apply for these scholarships if you are graduating college before Fall 2026 or if you will be enrolled in graduate school in Fall 2026.

Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarships
Application Deadline: January 31st
Each year the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of higher education in diverse areas of study including history, economics, law, political science, medicine, nursing, occupational and physical therapy, elementary and secondary education, chemistry, math, science and English.
Application Requirements:
Applicants must be citizens of the United States.
Applicants must attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States.
EECU Scholarship
Application Deadline: January 31st
At EECU our heritage is built on supporting the educational community and our members. One way we provide that support is through college scholarships. Each year, EECU awards up to thirteen $5,000 scholarships for students who are pursuing a four-year bachelor's degree. Awards are disbursed in $1,250 annual increments as long as you continue to meet eligibility requirements.
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a high school senior
Applicant or parent/legal guardian must be a Member in good standing with EECU
Applicant must express on their application his/her intended field of study
Recipient of scholarship funds must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 to receive annual distribution funds
The scholarship must be used for the purpose of study at an accredited college or university
Academic achievement, character, leadership, community involvement and work experience, and personal recommendations will be considered in the selection of scholarship recipients
eQuality Scholarship

Applicants for all scholarships must have demonstrated service to the LGBT+ community. Applicants of all sexual orientations and gender identities are eligible.
Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors and Recent High School Graduates:
be a resident of or attend a high school in northern or central California (see map of specific counties)
have completed or expect to complete high school (or equivalent) between 1 Jul 2021 and 30 Jun 2026
plan to attend or began attending a U.S. accredited post-secondary institution (college, university, or vocational/trade school) for the first time in 2026.

Union Plus Scholarship
Application Deadline: January 31st
Since 1991, the Union Plus Scholarship Program has awarded more than $5.9 million to students of union families. Over 4,200 union families have benefited from our commitment to higher education.
Eligibility criteria:
Current and retired members of unions participating in any Union Plus program, their spouses and their dependent children (as defined by IRS regulations) are eligible. Grandchildren are not eligible unless a legal dependent (as defined by IRS regulations). At least one year of continuous union membership by the applicant, applicant's spouse or parent (if applicant is a dependent). The one year membership minimum must be satisfied by May 31, 2025.
Members of participating unions from the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada are eligible.
The applicant must be accepted into a U.S. accredited college, university, community college, technical or trade school at the time awards are issued. Awards must be used for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply.
