CDE & LDE Teams

This team is coached by the advisor, Ms.Barney. Students will judge a class of seeds,bolls,lint, and plants. Students will then give a set of reasons to a judge supporting their placement. They will also be required to take a knowledge test. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.

Terianne Silveria is the coach and Mrs.Lewis is the advisor. Students will be shown a class of dairy cattle to evaluate. Students will then give a set of reasons. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.

Mr. Evans is the coach and advisor for this team. The team is required to pre-plan a project to make at an upcoming competition. At the contest the team will then execute the plan in 6-8 hours. The project will be judged based on the quality of the team's work. 

This CDE is coached and advised by Ms.Barney. This team allows students to learn the practices of banking. Students will take a test evaluating their knowledge and skill in multiple banking topics. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.

This team is coached by the advisor, Ms.Barney. Students will take a test on different marketing cooperatives. The students will learn about cooperatives and how they run. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.

This team is coached and advised by Ms.Lord. Students will learn how to do different animal restraint tactics, identify different breeds of multiple species, tool identification, parasite identification, general knowledge, and ID application. Students will be scored both individually and as a team. 

This LDE is coached and advised by Mrs.Lewis. Students will choose a prompt. They will have 2-3 minutes to give a debate supporting their prompt. Students will be scored individually.

 This LDE is coached and advised by Mrs.Perez. Students must recite the whole FFA Creed to judges and will be scored based on fluency. This competition is only available to freshmen. Students will be scored individually.

This team is coached and advised by Ms.Lord. Individuals will judge horses based on conformation, breed standards, pattern classes and give oral reasons. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.

This LDE is coached and advised by Ms.Barney. In this competition, students will practice answers common interview questions, analyze responses to interview questions, and determine ways to improve their answers. Students will be scored individually.

This team is coached and advised by Ms.Lord. Individuals will judge different types of meat based on conformation, marbling  standards, and give oral reasons. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.

This team is coached and advised by Ms Perez. Individuals will judge different types of beef cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats based on conformation, size standards, and give oral reasons. Students will be scored both individually and as a team.
