Located in the heart of the Central Valley, agriculture is everywhere we look. Our agriculture education program may not be the largest, but we are very successful. We are very competitive at every level of FFA whether it's judging, speaking, showing, or our pathways. We currently hold the longest streak of American Farmer Degrees in the Nation. We take pride of our work in and out of the classroom and strive to build the Future leaders of America.
Chowchilla FFA was founded in 1930 and began with only 14 members. We were the 310th chapter charted in the National FFA Association and the 72nd incorporated chapter in the California Association of Future Farmers of America. Since 1930, our chapter evolved a long way from the start. In 1947, a deed was written up and the Farm Laboratory was created. We had numerous Agriculture Educators advance and promote our chapter to what you see today.
Each of us has our own story, our own background, experiences, and dreams. But when we join as a chapter, those stories connect, and something bigger is created. Our Story Together is about the friendships we form, the challenges we face, and the victories we celebrate as one team.
In FFA, we don’t walk this journey alone. Whether it’s competing side by side, working on community projects, or simply showing up for one another, every page of this story is written together. This theme reminds us that our chapter is more than a group of individuals. It’s a family, and every member plays a role in this journey we are taking.
This year, let’s commit to writing a story that’s filled with growth, unity, and purpose. A story that reflects not only who we are now, but who we will become when we support and uplift each other. Because when we write Our Story Together, the possibilities are endless.
