Our agriculture classes provide students with hands-on learning experiences in a variety of areas, including animal science, plant science, ag mechanics, and floral design. These courses give students the opportunity to build real-world skills, explore future careers, and gain valuable leadership experience through FFA. Whether in the classroom, shop, or out in the field, our students are learning by doing every day!
Taught by Ms. Perez and Ms. Lord. Students will learn basic biology along with learning about the agriculture industry and how we can be sustainable in it. They will also go over an FFA unit.

Taught by Ms. Perez, in this class students will learn the basics of animal anatomy and physiology and how livestock is used in the industry today.
Taught by Ms. Linderholm. Similar to a basic chemistry class, but students will learn more about the agriculture industry. They will also complete an Agriscience project for their SAE.
Taught by Ms. Linderholm, this class works as a third year of science. Here, students will learn about how agriculture industries are managed. Students may also complete an Agriscience project for their SAE.
Taught by Ms. Linderholm, in this class students will learn Veterinary Skills, Animal Handling, Health & Disease and practice hands with on labs and activities.
Taught by Ms. Barney, students learn about growth, managaemnt, and care through hands-on activities like greenhouse work, crop production, and floral design.
Taught by Ms. Barney. This class teaches students the basics of plant anatomy and identification, along with how to make floral arrangements.
Also taught by Ms. Barney. Here students will get to work on more advanced arrangements and even go on field trips.
This class teaches students the basics of construction. This includes learning how to cut, sand, and measure wood to create projects and must take a safety test before entering the shop.
Students are able to continue improving their skills they gained from the intro class. They will be able to work on larger, more complex projects.
Students build advanced skills in woodworking, welding, and project design while completing hands-on projects that prepare them ofr caeers in the trades.
Taught by Mr. Cruz. In this class, students will learn the different types of welds and materials that can be used and will take a safety test to start welding, along with a short unit on FFA.
Taught by Mr. Cruz. Students must retake and pass the safety test from the Intro class in order to go out to the shop. They may start doing projects that will show off and develop the skills they gained in the Intro class.
Taught by Mr. Cruz. An advanced course where students ferine their welding and metalworking skills. They learn multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. This class prepares students for careers in welding and industrial trades.
Taught by Ms. Linderholm, this class is for the chapter officer team and other students that would like to help plan and organize FFA events. The Ag Comm members must fill out an application and be accepted to get into the class, but it's worth it!
Taught by Ms. Perez. Introduces students to agriculture, leadership, and career skills while getting them involved in FFA activites, projects, and competitions.
Taught by Ms. Perez. Teaches students how food in produced, harvested, and prepared, connecting agriculture with cooking, nutrition, and sustainability through hands-on experiences.
Taught by Ms. Barney, gives students real-world experience in marketing, finance, and management, helping them develop skills for careers in agriculture and business.
