Chowchilla FFA's Livestock Judging Team develops strong decision-making skills by evaluating cattle, sheep, goats, and swine based on structure, muscle, balance, and overall quality. Members learn how to properly rank classes of animals and give oral reasons to defend their placings with confidence and accuracy.

Our Livestock Judging team had its first competition at Chico State University! We got one last practice in at the school farm, judging some goat and pig classes before making a drive up north! Our 2 team sorted through cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs and gave 4 sets of reasons!
