Spanish Club is open to any Spanish student or heritage Spanish speaker. They must be currently enrolled in Spanish in order to participate in the Spanish Club. Currently, we have 20 students that participate in Spanish Club.
Mission Statement: To broaden the understanding of other people and their customs throughout the Spanish-speaking world, and promote enthusiasm for the Spanish language.
Monthly Cultural Activities Events
Purpose is to fund the Chi-Hi Scholarship for a graduating club member who will pursue Spanish post-graduation
Supporting the local Latino community or national non-profit organizations
President : Oversees the club, presides over monthly club meetings, helps with activities and supplies
Vice-President or Co-President : Assists the President, fills in as necessary when other officers are absent at meetings
Treasurer : Monitors club funds by balancing the budget monthly, assists with collecting money & writing receipts for activities
Publicist : Advertises club meetings, activities and fundraisers by creating posters
Photographer & Social Media Manager: Takes pictures at club activities and shares them on social media. Promotes membership through social media.
